ABOUT
For this project, our teacher assigned us a specific social issue. My issue was health or disease. I decided to do heart disease because it is the leading cause of death in the United States. We had to make a tabloid that consisted of a front cover, inside left/right, and back cover.
My Process
I started by making the front cover. I knew I wanted it to be eye-catching so I decided to draw an anatomical heart. I used vibrant colors that are not scientifically accurate to make it more exciting to look at. I proceeded with making the inside covers. I made wireframes of where I wanted everything to go, & dove in. I added various shapes & layers to segregate all of my information. My goal for this project was to make it easily digestible for the audience & straight to the point. I ended with my back cover, making it super simple and straight forward with a call-to-action.
